The Anesthesiology Department is an integral part of a cardiovascular disease diagnosis and treatment platform, able to perform all kinds of surgical anesthesia and perioperative procedures. From intra-surgical anesthesia to post-surgical pain relief, from sedation to monitored anesthesia care, from the operation room to the ward, the department’s vital work relieves patients’ strain, anxiety and pain and allows for rapid recovery. Headed up by Prof. Wang and Prof. Jiang Zhen, our team of highly qualified anesthesiologists and anesthesia nurses provide clinical anesthesia and facilitate quality clinical diagnosis and treatment.

The department boasts state-of-the-art anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices, including visualization devices (bronchofiberscope, glidescope, transesophageal ultrasonic cardiogram, and visual double lumen tracheal intubation), cerebral oxygenation monitor, BIS (bispectral index) monitor, as well as invasive and Non-invasive hemodynamic monitors, guaranteeing comprehensive monitoring of the patient’s perioperative vital signs. All anesthesiologists have received postgraduate education and have undergone continuous clinical professional training in China. With its rich knowledge in various anesthesiology methods, perioperative monitoring and emergency rescue, the department has saved numerous patients with difficult and critical conditions.
