The Department of Pharmacy of DeltaHealth Hospital · Shanghai has four regular sections: outpatient pharmacy, VIP pharmacy, inpatient pharmacy and pharmacy storage, which are mainly responsible for drug security and pharmacy services in the hospital. At present, the department has automated dispensing facilities such as dispensing machine for single-dose tablets taken orally and PTS, and has set up an independent PIVAS under the inpatient pharmacy, which contains dispensing rooms for antibacterial drugs, cytotoxic drugs and total parenteral nutrition, to enable the Pharmacy work in an integrated pattern.

The Department of Pharmacy actively promotes the transformation of pharmacy service mode, attaches importance to the establishment of clinical pharmacy disciplines, and trains professional talents. It also bridges the gap between pharmacists at the counter and clinical pharmacists to promote the idea of “the whole team of clinical pharmacists”.
