Dr. Nie is vice chief physician of the Cardiology Department in Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University, associate director of Youth Committee, Shanghai Cardiac Rhythm Society, member of Shanghai Cardiac Rhythm Society, member of Youth Group of Electrophysiology and Cardiac Pacing Branch under Chinese Medical Association, member of LAAO Working Committee, Electrophysiology and Cardiac Pacing Branch, Chinese Medical Association. He has more than 17 years of experience in RFA, and has performed more than 7000 RFA procedures for various kinds of arrhythmia. He is particularly good at RFA-based treatment of complicated and recurrent arrhythmia.

He has participated in 3 scientific research projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and published several SCI papers. Hes the coeditor of the chapter “epicardial mapping of different ventricular tachycardia” in the fifth edition of the foreign electrophysiological classic Cardiac Mapping. His trans-pericardial RFA treatment for ventricular tachycardia caused by organic heart disease won the Zhongshan Hospital New Clinical Technique Promotion Award. He also won the honor of Fudan University Shanghai Medical School Outstanding Clinical Teacher.
