Dr. Xue Gong graduated from Fudan Universtiy as a mentee of Prof Yangang Su, who is a famous electrophysiologist. With years of clinical experience in cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Gong is apt at diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmia, coronary heart disease， cardiomyopathy and heart failure. She is particularly good at pacemaker implantation and device-based treatment of heart failure. She has engaged in nearly 1000 pacemaker operations. She has led one project of National Natural Science Foundation and received multiple awards as the chief contributor; including Shanghai Medical Technology Award, Shanghai Technology Advancement Award and Chinese Medical Technology Award. She holds 1 utility model patent, has published more than 20 research papers on SCI and core journals. She has been on the editorial board of 2 public education monographs.
