Dr. Xue Gonggraduated from Fudan Universtiy with a Ph.D., specializing in cardiac pacing and electrophysiology under the guidance of Prof. Yangang Su, a famous electrophysiologist in China.With years of clinical experience in cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Gong is apt at diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmia, coronary heart disease, cardiomyopathy, and heart failure, as well as chronic cardiovascular disease management. She is particularly skilled in various pacemaker implantations (including physiological pacing and leadless pacing), device therapy for heart failure (including cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT), implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantation, and cardiac contractility modulation (CCM) implantation), and interventional treatment for hypertension, such as renal denervation (RDN). Dr. Xue Gong has also achieved significant accomplishments in scientific research, leading a project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has received multiple awards as the chief contributor, including Shanghai Medical Technology Award, Shanghai Technology Advancement Award and Chinese Medical Technology Award. She holds 1 utility model patent, has published more than 20 research papers on SCI and core journals, and has co-authored two popular science works. She currently serves as a member of the Youth Committee of the Cardiovascular Disease Specialty Branch of Shanghai Medical Association, a member of the Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology Group of Cardiovascular Disease Specialty Branch of Shanghai Medical Association, a member of the Youth Committee of Shanghai Heart Rhythm Society, and a member of the Sleep Medicine Specialized Committee of the Chinese Non-government Medical Institutions Association. She has also been honored with the title of Medical Star in Qingpu District.
