Dr. Han Fusheng, M.D., Ph.D, served as an associate chiefphysicianin Beijing Anzhen Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University. Dr. Han graduated from Harbin Medical University and was mentored by Prof. Yu Weihan, who is an Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and a renownedcardiovascular expert of China. Dr. Han acquiredthe M.D. in Internal Medicine in 1998. He then continued research as a postdoctoral fellow and completed the fellowship in Harbin Medical University in 2005. Dr. Han then practiced on the clinical front in Beijing Anzhen Hospital for two decades, mastering the diagnosis of and treatment of common cardiovascular conditions, such as coronary heart disease, myocardial diseases, hypertension, etc. He is particularly skillful in pharmaceutical treatment of acute and severe cardiovascular conditions, such as acute coronary syndrome, acute and chronic heart failure, arrhythmia and cardiogenic shock; he is also skilled at device-assisted therapies, such as mechanical ventilation, CRRT, IABP and ECMO. He has been honored on multipleoccasionsas an Outstanding Staff at both the departmental and hospital level. He is the PrincipalInvestigator of 3 researchprojects funded by provincial and municipal researchfunds and contributed to 5 research projects funded by National NaturalScience Foundation and provincial and municipal researchfunds. He has more than 10 academic publications.
