On December 18 and 19, "2020 China Cardiovascular Health Conference, the 10th China Chest Pain Center Conference and 2020 Annual Conference of Cardiovascular Disease Committee of Chinese Non-government Medical Institutions Association (CNMIA)" was held in Beijing. The representatives of DeltaHealth Hospital · Shanghai's cardiac rehabilitation center was invited to attend the conference. On the spot, DeltaHealth Hospital was certified as one of the second batch of cardiac rehabilitation centers, and officially became a member of the national system of the centers.

Implement Healthy China Initiative and promote cardiac rehabilitation center project

The conference was jointly held by China Cardiovascular Association, China Chest Pain Center Association, CNMIA and cardiovascular health institute of Suzhou industrial park, with the aim to further implement the requirements on prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases specified in the Healthy China Initiative (2019-2030) and jointly promote China's cardiac rehabilitation program.

The conference announced the establishment of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Management Committee of the Chinese Hospital Association, and carried out on-site awarding ceremony for 43 national certified cardiac rehabilitation centers of the second batch, including DeltaHealth Hospital · Shanghai.

China Cardiovascular Association hopes to promote the construction of cardiac rehabilitation centers, and through the establishment of working system, set up a multi-disciplinary team for management, and combine the construction of cardiac rehabilitation centers with that of the centers for chest pain, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, high blood pressure, etc. It is expected to further strengthen ongoing management of diseases, change the strategy from “being treatment-centered” to “being health-centered”, build a complete system for prevention, resuscitation, treatment, rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases, and ultimately make the mortality decrease.

Focusing on cardiovascular health, DeltaHealth Hospital got certification again

DeltaHealth Hospital · Shanghai and two collaborative institutions, DeltaHealth Clinic · Hongqiao and American Medical Center (Shanghai), were certified in November 2020 as members of the Shanghai Cardiac Rehabilitation Centers Association. With the support and leadership of the Association, all members are working together to promote the construction of rehabilitation centers.

At this conference, the Cardiac Rehabilitation Management Committee of the Chinese Hospital Association was established and 43 hospitals obtained the certification as the second batch of national cardiac rehabilitation centers, which showed the determination of major centers to promote the development of cardiac rehabilitation program.
