On Mar. 30th 2023, the Signing Ceremony of DeltaHealth Hospital-Changzhou First People’s Hospital Specialty Development Program was held smoothly in Changzhou First People’s Hospital.

The signing ceremony was attended by Ms. He Xiaoqian, Director and Party Secretary of Changzhou Municipal Health Commission, Mr. Hua Fei, Party Secretary of Changzhou First People’s Hospital, Mr. Zhou Jun, President of Changzhou First People’s Hospital, Mr. Chen Ming, Vice president of Changzhou First People’s Hospital; Mr. David Hoidal, CEO of DeltaHealth Hospital, Prof. Sun Lizhong, Medical president of DeltaHealth Hospital, Prof. Huang Lianjun, deputy CMO of DeltaHealth Hospital, Dr. Zhang Lan, Director of Clinical Compliance and MA of DeltaHealth Hospital, Yang Rong, Director of Nursing, Dr. Liu Wei, Chief of Cardiac Surgery of DeltaHealth Hospital, Dr. Li Qingzhi, Acting Chief of ICU of DeltaHealth Hospital, Dr. Liang Luobin, Chief of Perfusion of DeltaHealth Hospital.

Mr. Hua Fei, Party Secretary of Changzhou First People’s Hospital, hosted the meeting and welcomed the expert panel from DeltaHealth Hospital. Mr. Hua Fei appreciated DeltaHealth Hospital for supporting the development of Changzhou First People’s Hospital and briefed the panel on the hospital’s situation.

Prof. Huang Lianjun, deputy CMO of DeltaHealth Hospital, introduced the background of DeltaHealth Hospital and its highlight specialties. As a hospital with a cardiovascular center of excellence, DeltaHealth Hospital is dedicated to research and innovation in cardiovascular medicine.

Mr. Zhou Jun, president of Changzhou First People’s Hospital briefly introduced the basic situation of the hospital and the recent achievements by its cardiac thoracic surgery in medical technology. He pointed out that the collaboration program aims at tapping DeltaHealth Hospital’s advantage in the expert team and technological edge and establishing comprehensive and substantial strategic cooperation surrounding great vessel diseases. The initiative aims at establishing a long-term mechanism to promote cooperation, innovation and mutual development. The close cooperation of the two hospitals will deliver diagnosis and treatment services to Changzhou patients at their doorsteps. 

He hoped that the two hospitals could take this opportunity to pursue in-depth and constructive cooperation and communication and achieve growth and development in clinical capability, education and academic research.

Prof. Sun Lizhong and Mr. Zhoujun, the presidents of the two hospitals, signed the agreements of DeltaHealth Hospital-Changzhou First People’s Hospital Specialty Development Program and Expert Studio.

Ms. He Xiaoqian, Director and Party Secretary of Changzhou Municipal Health Commission, expressed a passionate congratulation to the collaboration program. She expressed a sincere hope that the collaboration of the two hospitals would create a win-win path for cooperation and innovation, and further integrate Shanghai and Changzhou medical cooperation. The close cooperation and communication across the board will contribute to the strategic development of Changzhou in the integration of the Yangtzi Delta Region.

After the ceremony, Prof. Huang Lianjun, deputy CMO of DeltaHealth Hospital, Dr. Liu Wei, Chief of Cardiac Surgery, and Yang Rong, Director of Nursing, gave lectures on Imaging Diagnosis and Interventional therapy of Aortic Dissection, Detailed classification and treatment strategy of aortic dissection, and Latest progress in the nursing for surgical treatment of aortic dissection.
