Dr. Liu Zuoqing graduated from the Bethune Medical School of Jilin University and was recruited by his alma mater due to his brilliant academic performance. He worked in the orthopedics department (the former Sino-Japan Friendship Hospital affiliated to Jilin University). In 2022, Dr. Liu Zuoqing worked at Changhai Hospital and became a student of Prof. Hou Tiesheng, a renowned spine surgery expert in China, and graduated with an M.D.

Dr. Liu Zuoqing has over 30 years of experience diagnosing and treating orthopedic diseases. He is focused on diagnosing and treating degenerative spinal diseases, spinal and limb trauma, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis of the limbs. Diagnosis of spinal orthopedic diseases and trauma, especially good at the minimally invasive and endoscopic treatment of spinal diseases; surgical treatment of complex trauma of the limbs and the spine; comprehensive treatment of various osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. He is the incumbent panelist of the Spine and Spinal Cord Expert Committee of the Shanghai Rehabilitation Medicine Association and Committee Member of the Orthopedics Professional Committee of Shanghai Combined TCM and Western Medicine Society. He has led and participated in multiple research projects funded by Shanghai Health Commission and Shanghai Municipal Scientific Committee as the primary research projection applicant.
