Dr. Liu Jun received his Doctors degree in internal medicine from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (Shanghai Chest Hospital). He has been engaged in clinical and basic research on respiratory tumors for nearly 10 years, devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of thoracic tumors, early diagnosis of lung cancer, diagnosis of benign and malignant small pulmonary nodules, as well as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy and multimodality therapy for lung cancer at middle or advanced stage. From 2017 to 2018, he was engaged in lung cancer related research in the State Key Laboratory of Oncogenes and Related Genes of Shanghai Cancer Institute. From 2018 to 2019, he participated in the cGAS-STING pathway research related to innate immunity in epithelial tumors as a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley.
At present, Dr. Liu serves as the Secretary General of Lung Cancer Special Committee of Chinese Medical Education Association (CMEA) and the member of Youth Committee of Lung Cancer Special Committee under CMEA. He has published 5 papers in China’s core journals and SCI.
