Dr. Wang Xiaomei has been engaged in clinical medicine, teaching and research of neurology for 37 years, proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common and frequently-occurring diseases in neurology. She has in-depth knowledge of cerebrovascular disease, epilepsy, myasthenia gravis, vertigo, peripheral nerve disorders, central nervous system infections and sleep disorders.
Dr. Wang has long researched the mechanism of injury of cerebrovascular disease and the repair of nerve injury. After getting her doctorate in the United States, Dr. Wang has published more than 30 articles, including over 10 SCI articles, two of which have been published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS), with internationally leading achievements. She has conducted research projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, and Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau winning 3 provincial awards for science and technology progress.
