Doreen Gong graduated from University of Pittsburgh and received her masters degree in Health, Physical Activity and Chronic Disease. Doreen specializes in exercise rehabilitation of chronic disease including heart disease, diabetes and another cardiovascular disease, especially in hypertension, myocardial infarction after operation, cardiac valve disease and orthopedic disease with complicated cardiovascular disease. In the aspect of orthopedic rehabilitation, she specializes in rehabilitation of sports injury and chronic pain, like post-operation of Achilles tendon rupture, ligament injury of knee and ankle joint, rotator cuff injury, fasciitis and spinal disc herniation. Doreen has more than ten years experiences in therapeutic exercise and studied from top international therapists. Her treatment philosophy is to treat patients body as a whole system and rebuild a healthy lifestyle and movement pattern. During the period of master study, Doreen worked pre-season test for Steelers and other professional sports teams, participated in research projects of exercise physiology on fatigue and performance for American Marines and high-level athletes. She holds the BLS certification of American Heart Association.
