Dr. Jia Cao, deputy chief physician, master supervisor, is deputy director of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center of Shanghai 3A hospital, doctor jointly trained by the Second Military Medical University and MD. Anderson Cancer Center, academic leader of Pudong New Area health system, member of Ultrasonic Endoscopy Group of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Branch of Chinese Medical Association, member and secretary of Youth Committee of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Branch of Shanghai Medical Association, member of EUS Group of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Branch of Shanghai Medical Association, member of Endoscopic Special Committee of Shanghai Association of Integrative Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, and one of Expert Bank for Shanghai endoscopic quality control and supervision.

In 2010, Dr. Cao graduated from the Department of Gastroenterology, Changhai Hospital affiliated to Naval Medical University with a doctorate degree under the teaching of academician Li Zhaoshen, a renowned expert in digestive diseases and gastrointestinal endoscopy. She is specialized in gastroscopy, enteroscopy, endoscopic treatment, endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS), especially endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of early-stage gastrointestinal cancer, biliary and pancreatic diseases. She is a joint training Ph.D. student of MD. Anderson Cancer Center, and once undertook endoscopy research in Aichi Cancer Center in Japan, Affiliated Hospital of University of Tokyo Medical School and Affiliated Hospital of Niigata University Medical School, and completed the Global Clinical Research Scholar Training Program of Harvard Medical School.
