Dr. Chengwei Yang focuses on imaging diagnosis and interventional treatment. He demonstrates expertise inimaging diagnosisfor cardiac and aotic diseases,minimally invasive managementof aortic dissection, aortic aneurysm, and post-operative complications, as well asinterventional therapyfor congenital heart diseases.

He has more than 60 academic publications and participated in editing and writing of 6 medical monographs, and 11 municipal and provincial level research projects. He is an editorial board member ofFrontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine, and a peer reviewer forEuropean Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery,The Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeon,Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, andJournal of Medical Imaging.He has been invited to multiple annual conferences of American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS)andEuropean Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery (EACTS) for keynote speeches. He has been to Columbia Heart Source and Milan University for education and exchanges.

He is a standing member and General Secretary of Cardiovascular Imaging Expert Committee of Society of Chinese Research Hospital, and deputy chairman of Cardiovascular Imaging Youth Committee of the same institution; member of STS and EACTS; member of Intervention Chapter under Society of Chinese Non-public Medical Institution, member of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Chapter under Chinese Society of Medical Advancement, Associate Secretary General of ‘Yangtzi-delta Cardiopulmonary Medical Emergency Alliance’; member of Hemorrhagic Disease Prevention and Treatment Expert Committee of Asia-pacific Vascular Alliance; member of Radiology Chapter under Shanghai Medical Association, member of Medical Imaging Expert Committee of Shanghai Non-public Medical Institution, Head of Characteristic Specialty in Shanghai Qingpu District and Health Commission Quality Assurance Expert.
