Dr. Xiaochu Mao, Associate Chief Physician of Gastroenterology, has more than 40 years of experience in gastrointestinal endoscopy and is a senior expert in the field, having served as Vice President of Zhujiajiao Peoples Hospital. Dr. Mao Xiaochu has profound attainments in gastrointestinal endoscopic diagnosis and treatment, and is especially good at minimally invasive treatment using endoscopic techniques. He is proficient in diagnostic and therapeutic operations of gastroscopy, colonoscopy and other types of digestive endoscopy. In the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, he specializes in endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), minimally invasive removal of gastrointestinal polyps, and is skilled in the use of argon knife in the treatment of many gastrointestinal diseases, as well as various gastrointestinal dilatation procedures.
