In the morning of January 15, DeltaHealth Hospital · Shanghai and Kunshan First People's Hospital signed a joint project of cardiac surgery specialty.

Yin Hongqing, president of Kunshan First People's Hospital, delivered a speech. He said that the development of cardiac surgery in the hospital started from scratch . The signing of this agreement marked the cooperation between the two hospitals entered a substantive stage and will promote Kunshan First People's Hospital to build itself into a high-quality 3A hospital. Therefore, Kunshan residents suffering from cardiac surgery diseases, including patients with valve and aortic dissection diseases, no longer need to travel in Suzhou or to Shanghai, and can receive treatment right in Kunshan.

The cooperation involved multi-disciplinary technical support of cardiac surgery, anesthesia and ICU, ultrasound, cardiovascular perfusion, and postoperative care, providing reliable and continuous medical guarantee for patients.

And then the two hospitals started the signing ceremony of the joint project.At last, Zhou Jian, director of Kunshan Health Commission, made a speech. He reviewed the changes of population and economic aggregate of Kunshan, expressing the hope that Kunshan could take the advantage of its geography, think out of the box and make new contributions to ensuring the health of the people.

On the same day, the medical team from DeltaHealth Hospital and Kunshan First People's Hospital jointly conducted a heart valve replacement operation for a 65-year-old woman, which was the first cardiac surgery in Kunshan.

At present, Kunshan First People's Hospital has 11 medical staff completing intensive training on perfusion and specialty technology. In the near future, the two hospitals will continue to strengthen cooperation to help Kunshan residents get quality and safe medical services in their city.
